Very confused by the high ratings! Monday 6/1 Chose to eat here while on vacation because of the great reviews. Purchased a $15 for $30 deal through yelp. Arrived at 11:20, they were supposed to open at 11:30. At around 11:45 they unlocked the doors. We went in and they were completely unprepared, we waited patiently for food to come out and built our burritos. Upon checkout, we told the woman employee about our coupon and she very rudely said she would not honor it. She said she refused to give away $30 of food for $15. Also, right next to the counter a computer screen was open to yelp showing our name and the purchase of the coupon! Very confused about our experience here and how it is so highly rated because we saw nothing positive about this place! Big waste of time and money while on vacation! We ended up walking away and the woman wasted $20-25 worth of food.

Why is this place is closed?? Yelp should contact them and tell them to change their hours .. I was looking forward to it and it's closed..

Came here on vacation because some friends that were there a few weeks ago highly recommended the place. I had a burrito with carnitas and my girlfriend had a veggie burrito. Both were fantastic. Food was super fresh. The owner was very friendly and made our burritos then stepped out for a delivery. Go there have a beer and a burrito, you can't go wrong.

Agree with previous reviewer that "This place is 10x better than chipotle!". Maybe not 10x, perhaps 5x. All ingredients are made fresh, all the meats too. Barbacoa and carnitas burrito bowl was outstanding; the flavors were complex and mingled extremely well, plus the bowl was crunchy yet non-flaky. I really liked my carne asada burrito, and gobbled it down. The carne asada is very high quality, well-seasoned, and just surpasses Chipotle. Our servers were extremely friendly and said its a pity that the ingredients are frequently thrown out at night because people don't ask for them. For most customers, the only thing they ever order is a chicken burrito with lettuce, cheese, and ranch. Now that's a tragedy.

We always go to this place when we're visiting Myrtle Beach. I always get a carne asada (steak) burrito which is, simply put, amazing. The ingredients are always fresh and tasty. They pride themselves on the fact that they have no freezers in their building, which should speak volumes about the quality of the ingredients. The hot salsa leaves the perfect amount of fire in your mouth. You can also get an ice cold beer with your meal for a reasonable price. I love Chipotle, but this burrito bar blows Chipotle out of the water.

So sad, we loved their food, but no more, everything was gone, space was empty. The phone message states they are open only at night, they had opened a night club next store.

  • Rene M.

They closed for the winter!??! What?!! That's crazy! Drove all the way out here and it had a closed for winter sign up.

I had the Carne Asada burrito and my wife had the Carnitas. The ingredients were tasty and fresh. The server was friendly. We are in Myrtle Beach again, we will plan to go back.

It was delicious. Ingredients were very very fresh and flavorful. A good location too near a lot of touristy flair at MB. Met the owner, he was very nice and said they'd be expanding into more of the building soon. Can't wait to visit again.

  • Josh G.

I wasn't even in the mood for a burrito, but my wife was. Boy am I glad we came here. It was definitely one of the best burritos I've ever had. The steak was perfectly cooked and the cilantro lime rice really stood out in a great way. Definitely highly recommended!!

  • Kylie M.

Very fresh food and great burritos! We both got chicken, but tasted the barbacoa and it was very tasty! The hot salsa was rather hot on the burrito, but had a great taste! The mild salsa was not spicy at all, and didn't have too much of a taste to it. It was definitely a good lunch for a day on the beach. Only problem would be the prices of all of the items was rather confusing. The burritos were all listed with the details about meat and toppings of your choice, but no prices were there for the burritos. There was an extras menu with prices of chips & salsa, guacamole, etc, but didn't specify if some of those prices were the prices if you got them on your burrito. We both got the lunch special of a small burrito, chips, salsa, and a drink for $7.95 and it was $19, so I am assuming other "extras" were added to the total as the workers strongly suggested all of these ingredients that we should have on our burritos. All and all, rather satisfied with the burritos, but just was a little confused on the pricing set-up.

My boyfriend and I came here for lunch after reading the great reviews here on yelp. I must say this place is AMAZING!!! Best burrito's EVER!! There is an endless amount of toppings, salsa and sauces you can add. They give a heaping amount of meat too!!! The staff was super friendly!! Will definitely be coming back here on our next vaca. Ps: Must try their Chipotle sauces.. boyfriend swears by it!!

2nd year for this business. Every thing is made fresh in a no nonsense environment that is cool and youthful. Great location in the heart of MB. We had steak and chicken burrito bowls. Both were great.

  • Dalton B.

The food was good. The service was strange. After taking orders the staff walked back into the kitchen for no less than 10 minutes without explanation (mind you this place has the same set up as chipotle). Once we had our food it was awesome. About halfway through eating, though... I could smell cigarette smoke. Indoors. Very strongly. And I peek around the corner to see someone SMOKING in the kitchen. Almost puked... Seriously though the food was delicious. But I'd never come back.

  • Cyndi T.

This place was absolutely delicious! Ingredients were fresh and flavorful. Staff was helpful, friendly and clearly hard working folks. Will be back! The barbacoa was a fave, with the roasted corn and sautéed veggies. Hot sauce was right on time.

  • Scott A.

First and probably only time eating here, but this place is quality. Fresh. Clean. Reasonably priced. Beer specials! Definitely gives Qdoba a run for its pesos - very similar style. Great spot!

  • Kevin L.

Came here for a spring break first-night-in-MB dinner (later at night). We had read some really positive things about the place and couldn't wait to try it out! When we got there, very few people were there so we had a very positive experience interacting with the staff and chefs. All four of us actually ordered the carne asada which was worth the wait for the fresh cooking. Their spice mix with the steak was excellent. Of course, the highlight of the night was the experience trying the guacamole - simply sublime and some of the best guac I've tasted in a long long time. The queso and chips was always an ethereal experience - the queso had a smoky quality to it and was not congealed or overly thin. A wonderful place with fantastic food (let's not forget about the alluring chipotle ranch sauce for the burritos!) The only refrainment from five stars was that the staff, while exceptionally friendly, seemed to not quite know what to do/what was going on. There was a bit of confusion about orders/who had what/etc., and it was interesting to watch them all interact in their various ways. Perhaps a clearer communication system internally could help cut back on the questions and confusion felt by the staff. Would love to go back again!

What a gem. If you're a burrito lover like myself and you're in the area, you should definitely stop in. I got free chips and salsa for checking in on yelp and had damn near the best steak burrito of my life. Superb!

  • Bob P.

Walked in and was welcomed right away with a friendly greeting. My family ordered 3 burritos and they were all very good. I recommend the barbacoa! It was very good and definitely recommend it as your meat and they say it's their specialty. Enjoy!

  • E H.

Came here looking for a gluten-free option and was not disappointed. The staff made every effort to keep my food from being contaminated, even turning on a separate fryer for chips. The food was fresh and delicious. Perfect spot for a filling but not overly heavy lunch. Highly recommend.

Lots of places to eat in Myrtle Beach, this place is outstanding! If you like a great burrito or an excellent taco, this place is a must! I was in Myrtle Beach for seven days and I made multiple visits.

  • Shawn M.

Normally I only write reviews on places where I was not happy. But in the case of Farlos Burrito Bar, I must say that it was an exceptionally prepared meal. I had the burrito bowl with Barbacoa meat (braised beef). With the toppings as suggested by the owner, it was spectacular. My wife had a Fajita Burrito with chicken and her choice of toppings. She couldn't eat it all. Very happy that we stopped by here while on vacation in Mrytle Beach!

  • Woody C.

They don't make burritos this damn delicious in Mexico. Plus you can see the ocean whilst you munch.

    (5)
  • George K.

We drove the extra 6 miles past at least 15 other Mexican joints based on the Yelp reviews we read. Expectations were high going in and they were exceeded by leaps and bounds. The fresh food was just over the top awesome. The service was like I was sitting at the table of a great friend placing my custom order and they were eager to please. My family of four walked out of there for just about $30 and I felt like I had just won the lottery. The location is a bit tricky to get too and park but please, please don't let that hold you back. I have been hanging around Myrtle for the past 10 years and have found my new favorite place to eat. Great job Guys, see you on my next visit to the beach for sure.

Fabulous. Fantastico. The freshest ingredients and the taste is amazing. Come hungry. Guacamole to die for.

  • Mike S.

Downgrading my review. They're no longer as accommodating of allergies, and it takes forever to get served. We stopped coming here often with groups because it takes so long. It's great that they're open late and the food is still good and prices reasonable.

  • Susan G.

Love this place. You can tell their ingredients are fresh and the food is just delicious. I ordered the carne asada (steak) and my husband ordered the Barbacoa. Both were great. Can't wait to come again on our next visit here!

    (5)
  • Theresa J.

Everything is fresh. Great place for GF people. The Carne Asada was amazing. They have bottled beer, pretty larger selection actually. Not a large place so probably not great for large crowds.

    (5)
  • Jai F.

We really enjoyed our meal here. Very fresh ingredients. It really reminded me of Chipotle with a less hurried ordering process. I sometimes feel rushed at Chipotle, but here the owner was on the line to tell us more about the ingredients and how to mix and what to expect. The location was a little hard to find using Google Maps. It actually had me looking on the wrong side of the street! I called Farlo's and they gave us great directions! Prices were great for our fam of five. He also had a free chips and dip Yelp coupon. I would definitely recommend.

    (4)
  • Marta R.

Very good place to stop by when you're very hungry and want lots of taste... Would reccomend!

We ordered the lunch special - $7.95 small burrito, a drink and chips and salsa. All the neat was freshly cooked and delish. .

  • Brad T.

Found this place based on the reviews from yelp....was not disappointed. Awesome burrito bar with a real cool owner. Ordered the carne asada burrito and it was greatness. They cook to order but the short wait was worth it. Everything was fresh and was like a flavor explosion in your mouth. If you like a good burrito...do yourself a favor and have a meal here!

A hidden gem in Myrtle Beach. It's small and very hard to see while driving past it, and the parking is located behind the plaza it's located in. The food was excellent. Opposed to other burrito places like Chipotle and Qdoba, Farlos cooks their chicken and steak to order (it only takes 5 minutes). The other ingredients we added to our bowl (lettuce, onions, peppers, corn, pico de gallo, rice, cheese, and cilantro) were fresh and married well with our chicken and fried tortilla bowl. We ordered chips too, only 99 cents, SO CHEAP. The woman working there knew that we had never been there before and did everything possible to help make the ordering and eating process easy. Overall, great, fresh, cheap food. Perfect place if you're missing your Chipotle or Qdoba back home.

  • Leticia K.

Must Try!!! Even my two picky eating sons ate all of the food. The owner was so kind & made sure we got everything we ordered. The carne guisada & chicken is made fresh when you order. Even their guacamole looked good, bright & green, and not brown and old. The corn salsa is so yum & their cilantro lime rice kicks Chipotle's rice butt. Lol!

  • Jim H.

A fantastical burrito bar where your dreams come true. Or at least they male delicious burritos. This place takes a great deal of pride in their food. They make the chicken and steak to order. But the barbacoa and Carnitas were so good as well. This place is a must go if in myrtle beach

    (5)
  • Matthew L.

The food was average, but the service was not at all good. Arrived with 4 people in front of us and it took 20 - 30 minutes before I could even order. I suspect the previous reviews are owner inflated on this one.

    (2)
  • K K.

Awsome food and outstanding service!! The chicken and beef tastes great and they have tons of fresh toppings for your burrito

    (5)
  • Maureen G.

Food was good but the guy was really weird and we struggled to find it. Won't put it on our list of places to visit again. I will say everything was very fresh.

The BEST Freakin' Burrito in the entire history of Burritos! A Must every time you are at the beach.

Being a server, I hear daily about new food joints popping up around Myrtle Beach, but Farlo's stuck out when I heard they didn't own a freezer. This past week, my boyfriend and I hit up Farlo's for lunch. He got the chicken burrito and I got the vegetarian burrito bowl; while we split the queso and chips. All of it looked and smelled fantastic, while having been prepared in a quick manner coming 100% fresh. The burrito shell my bowl came in was beyond words delicious. It was crunchy and flaky; a perfect compliment to my flavorful bowl. My boyfriends burrito was very hot (he gets hot salsa to my mild) and delicious as well. We enjoyed everything. We also were approached by the owner after the meal and asked how everything was, which is always a nice touch. The only reason 5 stars wasn't given is the price. While at Chipotle I would only spend $15, I spent $24 at Farlo's. Although, it was worth it. We will definitely be back!

This is the poorest run business that I have seen. We didn't get to try the food and we were so looking forward to it. They say they open at 10pm so we waited until then to eat. Yelp says they deliver so I started calling at 10:00 sharp. Continually got the same answering machine message for 10 min straight. Okay, so I'll drive be there. Got there by 19:20 +/- and no sign of life. We opted to order carry out pizza instead. On our way back to the room we drove by (at around 11:00) and the open sign was on. Very disappointed to say the least and they missed out in a sizable order. Sure wish I could rate the food and not the business.

  • Tiffanie C.

Seriously good burrito and burrito bowls. Awesome at 4am and fresh. Pleasant staff too. A little creepy weaving my way through the dark club side to get to the food side, but so WORTH it when you're sick of breakfast food and fast food st that time of night. New hours are apparently from 10:30pm-7am Monday - Saturday .

  • Michael B.

Go here now!!!! Just had one of the best burritos I have ever had.... Went with the chicken fajita burrito, queso was out of his world.... Everything was great!!!! I highly recommend!

    (5)
  • Barbara V.

One of the best burritos I've had so far! I recommend this awesome place to everyone. Check it out! I had the fajita burrito and my boyfriend had the fajita bowl. Awesome.... pair it with a Margarita!

  • Nishith P.

Excellent food. Flavorful, fresh. Beats Chipotle on taste. Vegeterian friendly. You will not be disappointed. Try the Chipotle ranch on your burrito! The guac is made fresh each time also, so you have to try it out. The owner, Farlo was there the two times we went back, and he makes sure you get the best possible burrito each time.

  • Scotty C.

Okay, so it's been a while since that wild night where the burrito guys safely drove my buddy and I home to finish up an exquisite evening of Myrtle mayhem. For more on that, scroll down to my previous review... moving on. Again, I was in town for a friends birthday... and again we ended up in hammer-town making our way to club there for some late night refreshments (I don't know why we always do that). Before going anywhere else for drinks, I needed some food and remembered that there was a late night burrito spot around the corner. I came in and spoke to the owner and he remembered us from out past drunken dining experience. The customer service here is so friendly so all my friends decided to grab a bite. I obviously went for the barbacoa burrito again and this time, there was a yelp check in for free chips and salsa... woot woot! Apparently, they have also taken over the spot next door, which used to be a bar and had just opened it the night before or something. We decided to take out food and go sit over there to check it out. They have a full bar and access to the food as well. They've basically just capitalized on that corner of being a late night place with food and a bar attached next door for drinks. Huge win!

  • Rick L.

What a cool little place this is, just a couple blocks off the strip. As you can tell by the reviews everything can be just a bit uneven. I found the food delicious and the quirkiness of the staff refreshing. It just doesn't seem to fit into the Myrtle Beach scene and that's not a problem. If you want to try a place off the strip and get something that isn't fried....give this place a shot.

    (3)
  • JC G.

If you're looking for authentic Mexican, go some place else. Farlo's is basically Tex-Mex. For what it is, however, Farlo's offers a pretty decent dining experience. Their barbacoa burrito/wrap is filling & tasty, just expect boiled white rice versus the aromatic orange Mexican-style rice, boiled beans versus refried beans, etc (you get the picture). Did I like my meal? Yes. Will I go out of my way & eat there again? Probably not. If I'll be in the area next time, I'll probably be more adventurous & try the Ethiopian resto across the street.

  • Lisa S.

This place is great! We had the barbacoa and the carnitas, and both were great. The carnitas might have been just a little better, but we highly recommend both. Super nice staff and incredibly fresh, homemade food. Also very kid friendly - our picky two year old even ate everything on her plate! The only thing we would change is the salsa - super yummy but a little thin. Definitely visit Farlo's when you are in Myrtle Beach!!

Very good casual dining restaurant. Similar to Moe's or Chipotle with better food. Check in with yelp while there and you get free chips and salsa. Prices are very reasonable and the people were nice.

    (5)
  • JoAnn H.

Not bad but could be better. The food is fresh. Needs a bit more authenticity in the spices and less white rice. I think the place has potential. They just need to step it up a notch. My burrito bowl was tasty and as I said fresh. They could use some spice to the white bland rice that overpowers the dish and the beans could use some spice instead of coming out of the can. My son however found some hair in his burrito. Not a good way to start a meal.

  • Doug B.

Drove in from Michigan. Farlo's caught my eye on yelp because they deliver. Picked what we wanted from their online menu, called it in, and about 30 minutes later they delivered. Very easy to order and service was great. I'm sure we'll be hitting Farlo's up again before we leave. Thanks Farlo's.

    (4)
  • Lindsey C.

My husband and I were hungry and trying to find a place in our area that would deliver. We stumbled upon Farlo's on here and, after seeing all of the good reviews on here, we thought we should give it a try. We both got burrito bowls and they were AMAZING! We would definitely order from them. The staff was also extremely helpful and even brought us extra sauces and toppings to try since we were first timers. It's nice to find a local restaurant that is doing food 100% right.

Great food, great service, glad we stumbled upon it. If I am ever back in the area, I would definitely visit again.

  • Brian O.

Kick Ass!!! The pulled pork is crazy good. We had the salad and totally loved it. This will be a permanent stop for the MB weekends. The guy that made our food was so friendly, I think we'll be sending him a Christmas card. Make sure to visit this little slice of heaven

    (5)
  • Jim T.

AMAZING! Fresh ingredients, flavorful meats, tasty home-made salsa (loved the hot). Will definitely be back & recommend to others.

  • Jennifer H.

I'm pretty much a burrito expert. The barbacoa burrito I had this afternoon from Farlo's is by far the best burrito I've ever had. They make the ingredients to order so they're as fresh and tasty as possible. They even make the tortilla chips for you while you wait. I wish all restaurants would put forth as much effort as they do. It could end wars, y'all.

    (5)
  • Nathan P.

The owner is super friendly, and all of our food was cooked to order while we waited. Definitely the best burrito I've ever had. I'd also highly recommend trying the homemade queso and guacamole.

    (5)
  • Ravi T.

Excellent staff and super fresh ingredients. The owners of Farlo's clearly care about quality ingredients and a clean restaurant. Not sure if they are able to do this, but grilling the burritos would take them to the next level.

  • Kelly H.

Great local business and they had a yelp freebie! Nice small outdoor sitting area along sidewalk...great, and fresh!

Fantastic pork tacos, juicy and crunchy. Great salsa, too. The Mrs. loved her vegetarian burrito. Good beer selection. Very clean place, warm service. We'll be back there, hopefully soon.

There's nothing better than quality food from a locally owned and operated resturant. Seriously fresh ingredients. If you're looking for a great burrito, this is the spot. Opened about 5 months ago. I will definitely eat there again.

  • Robert W.

I've been here about 3 times now. So I think that says a lot. The food is fresh and tastes really good. The hot salsa is what won me over. I'm a huge fan of spicy. I think what gets my business is also how late they stay open. In this area not many restaurants stays open late. Here's the downside...its hard to get to, which I think is why its always empty? The prices kinda suck. All I usually get is a burrito because one burrito is almost $10 bucks! No drink, no chips. And the staff....what're we gonna do about the staff buddy? I see lots of complaints. You'd think with an empty store they'd be grateful to see a hungry customer. All in all, I really like the owner and hope this place thrives and sticks around

  • Ming W.

I read all the reviews about how much better than Chipotle this place is and was pumped but carefully skeptical as well. How good could a burrito place in Myrtle Beach, the mecca of bland fried garbage, be? Well, it was fantastic! Farlo's apparently has a bar side and a burrito side, so if you go into the wrong entrance you'll be ordering drinks instead of burritos, which may be just as good but I cannot comment. We went on a Monday night at around 11pm (this place is open til 4AM!) and the restaurant was basically empty. The two burrito crafters behind the counter were very friendly and gave us a quick rundown of how the ordering process works. I'm not sure if this is always the case (especially during peak dining hours) but the chicken and steaks that go into the burrito are made to order! I ordered a combination of both in my burrito and they grilled them up fresh...delicious and SO worth the wait! As other reviewers have noted, their rice is also great both in texture and flavor. The toppings are numerous and fresh and, finally, the hot salsa is actually spicy!!! I was blown away in disbelief at this. How could a salsa in white Myrtle Beach actually have kick without droves of tourists and locals crying in anger/pain? I don't know and I won't ask. I just hope that they either don't order it or cry secretly so that it stays this way. I'm not sure if I'll ever be back in Myrtle Beach after this brief vacation, but if I ever am you better bet I'll be back to Farlo's.

Just as we were lamenting the lack of any decent Mexican food at the beach--not even a Chipotle for heaven's sake--we found Farlo's. The burritos and their meat filling are all made to order, but we had our burritos quickly. I'm a vegetarian, and while they didn't have a meat substitute like Chipotle's sofritas, I thoroughly enjoyed my veggie burrito. The guacamole tasted fresh, and the grilled fajita vegetables I added were well worth the small increase in cost. My partner ordered the chicken burrito and was equally pleased. The hot salsa and salsa verde were both excellent. (Don't forget to check in for free chips and salsa--the chips were warm.) I did wish they had brown rice, but that's a picky point. The white rice was flavored with cilantro and lime, and it was quite good. I'd rather eat at a local joint than a big chain any day. I regret we did not get our young burrito maker's name, but she was quite pleasant and endured our many questions and special requests with good cheer. We will most certainly return.

At one time I did rate this place 5 stars. What in the hell happened? I first went to Farlo's about 2 years ago. It was fresh, FLAVORFUL, and a good replacement for chipotle (which at the time had not existed in myrtle beach). Either the owner cheaped out on his processes/ ingredients or it changed owners. Comparing my first experience with my last was a huge difference. The Food; nowhere NEAR on par with the flavor as before. The Barbacoa seemed like stewed beef. Not spicy whatsoever. The rice, under cooked. Seemed as though all the ingredients had been sitting there all day. The price; Nickle and dime you for every possible thing! 2 Burritos and (2) $2 beers ended up being $29.00?! It would be fine if the food was at least decent. The only positive thing I have to say about them is their sour cream was good. But it wasn't enough to make me want to come back considering all the other new factors. However! I noticed this place is open until 4:00AM. I can imagine this place being heaven on a drunken night after the bars have closed. BUT, if you're looking for CONSISTENCY in a burrito, you're better off going to chipotle

Food - 1.5/2 *The food was good. Flavorful. Quality ingredients. Definitely had a zesty taste to it with the hit salsa. Only problem was that the portions are rather small. I left lunch really hungry, but I enjoyed what I ate. Price - 0/1 *Overpriced and there's no way around it. I got a steak salad bowl (which was small) with guacamole and it was almost $10.00. Part of that might have been the tourism tax in MB, but that's still really pricy. Service - 0.5/1 *Its a burrito bar... But I didn't find the employers particularly helpful. The chick and steak are cooked to order but that means you are left awkwardly waiting at the bar while your meat cooks. The ingredients were covered and that made it hard to know what you were working with. Atmosphere - 0.5/1 *Simple. Not ideal for a lunch of more than 3 people. Listen, I liked the food. It was really good, but at the end of the day this place is a Chipotle knock-off with smaller portions and priced $2-3 higher. I liked it but I'd rather go to Chipotle. When I asked the served what's different about Farlo's from Chipotle, all I got was, "We are better." And after eating there, I have to disagree.

Walked in and was greeted by wonderful staff. They cooked everything fresh for myself and my mom. My mom isn't too adventurous but the guy behind the counter was very convincing of the chicken burrito. I had the veggie burrito and the guacamole was delicious. We also used the yelp sign in for free chips, and they were also fresh. As for the salsa it was pretty good. A little light, and the hot wasn't hot enough for me. This wasn't so for my mom. All in all it was delicious and I would definitely not pass it up. $16 for two burritos and free chips with yelp. Not too bad.

This was my favorite restaurant in Myrtle to but now I must take stars away. Just went there on a Tuesday at 5pm and the place is locked. Lady inside sweeping just waves me away. I go out of my way to come here and then have to sit in added traffic to get home but I won't be doing that anymore. I'd give them a call on any time or day because there hours are sporadic even though the sign on the window says Monday - Saturday. Disappointing.

We found this place through its outstanding Yelp reviews and had them deliver to our hotel room the first time....food was great, fresh, flavorful, delivery was fast and the prices were reasonable. A day later we went to the place for more food.....food is made fresh when you order it, steak for burritos is cooked upon order and is tender and very well seasoned. This place is great with a combination of fresh ingredients, decent prices and quality service....we will go here again next time we're in town.

My vegetarian family ordered carry-out & thoroughly enjoyed the delicious, fresh food! We had a totally bad experience at the Coastal Grand Chipotle the day before and Farlo's completely satisfied our burrito cravings. Great service, too!

Friendly staff, but slow and unprepared and we were the only ones there. Tasty food with fresh ingredients. Maybe we just arrived at a bad time. Would give it a second try.

We're true fans of Chipotle and we're excited to try this place when we heard about it. The food takes a little longer to get (especially if you're used to Chipotle), but they cook to order. Everything was very fresh and tasted great! The girls working gave us impeccable service. Will definitely go back again!

Don't come here if you're looking for the food. Their machine is supposedly broken and unable to cook. The place also doesn't open until 11 pm even though multiple sites and their voice mail said they are open at 10 pm. I am really surprised at how this place got their high yelp rating.

I've never eaten here but not for lack of trying. Got off of work late; in town for business. Saw this place on Yelp; had good reviews and hours of operation specified they were open until 4am 6 days per week--closed Sunday. Checked the WEBSITE and it specified the same hours of operation. Drove 10 minute to find out that they actually, in fact, close at 9pm. EPIC FAIL! How are you going to own a business in the year 2015 and not have an updated website/yelp page...and for that (and my wasted time) they receive a nice (dog turd) 1-star review.

Prepare their meat freshly. Vegetables are pretty fresh. Prefer this over moe's and chipotle. Wish they had black olives and mushrooms though. They stay open until late which is very convenient.

If you like Chipotle, you will LOVE Farlo's! Similar atmosphere, but they really go the extra mile to please their customers. Awesome food, fair prices. Service was a little slow, but they were very apologetic, working short, and we were in no hurry. Worth the wait for delicious fresh food. We had the barbacoa, carnitas, and chicken and all were great. Guacamole was excellent. Chips and white queso were just okay. I like a thinner chip, but at least these are made fresh. Would definitely recommend and would stop in again!

Excellent burritos. Everything is very fresh and made to order. Staff was very friendly and helpful, including offering tastes of the various meats. The barbacoa and carnitas were both excellent, as was the chicken, which is made to order. If this place was close to home, I'd be a regular and would never need to set foot in Qdoba, Moes, or Chipotle ever again.

Finding good Mexican eats in unexpected places is a lot easier thanks to Yelp... and we did not get steered wrong on Farlo's. Sticking to a manageable number of selections and doing each impressively, the personable and attentive owner and staff put together 4 delicious dishes after letting us sample ingredient options. You won't be disappointed about making a point to eat here.

Probably the worst burrito I've ever had. I'm so disappointed. The pictures and reviews on yelp set my expectations super high. It was mediocre AT BEST. Service was terrible. The employees were way too busy texting on their phones to take my husband and my order. The female employee had a total attitude when she finally noticed me. The steak had a weird taste. Rice was undercooked. Chips stale. Definitely won't be returning.

Great food. I loved the barbacoa. Daughter loved the carnitas. Hubby loved the steak. Convenient parking behind the restaurant or walk from the beach. All fresh ingredients. Even the steak was made to order. Yummy guac, warm chips. Will definitely be back if we return to the area.

If you like burritos and eating fairly healthy, you'll love this place. It is a bit hard to find on GPS so don't give up. It's down the road and on the other side from where Google and Apple currently think it is. I had a chicken burrito with lime rice and black beans, and several toppings. It was delicious and filling, but not heavy at all. It takes a few minutes as they cook the meat fresh, but it's worth the wait - you're not here for a quickie. If you get chips and salsa to go ask for extra salsa. Everything at this little hideout is very well done. Definitely worth a try. This may be my only 5 star rating... I wish it was closer to home.

Despite it being a quiet night, this great place provided us excellent food and great service. The beef barbacoa was amazing, the pork carnitas and carne asada were also delicious. Prices are very affordable ($7 for pretty much all items) and portions were well sized. Good bottles beer selection as well. Good for a quick bite and tasty Mexican food.

Super friendly service! That is what I noticed first about this place. The guy behind the counter clearly loves the food he was serving and immediately told us we could customize outer burritos in any way we wanted--with a huge smile on his face. Food was yummy. I got a burrito, my hubby got a crispy burrito bowl, and my 1 year old enjoyed the guacamole the most! After finishing our meal at the outside seating area, my husband went to throw the garbage away inside and staff ran over to open and hold the door for him! It's these little touches that keep people coming back.

Fresh food, and a great atmosphere. Somewhat hidden away but near the beach. The food was delicious, and you could tell that they staff took an interest in the quality of food that you received. We went on a Sunday, and there was hardly any one there. Found out they had just started opening on Sunday. They had two Tv's to watch football as well. I will eat there again each time we make the trip to Myrtle Beach.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
